We are born with a lifelong thirst for love. Our hearts desperately need it like our lungs near oxygen. Love changes our motivation for living. Relationships become meaningful with it. No life is successful without it.

Shallow-less Sunday 1/19/14

I love me some Jesus… Not only because He first loved me I just love Him.

Have you ever read a book that captivated your emotions strongly or watched a movie where the story line brought you to tears through-out the entire movie, better yet have you ever been in an intimate situation that brought you to another  place; had you head over heels for the person who took you there?

That’s exactly how I feel about Jesus… When I’m thinking about Him, when I’m reading about Him or watching something on television, don’t talk about when I speaking to Him..

Muslims-believe-that-Jesus-was-a-prophet-of-God.

It’s not one of those feelings someone had to tell me about, it’s one of those things I had to experience and feel for myself.

By getting to know Him and feeling Him in my being it’s hard not to go out into the world and offer anything less than what He gives me. I never find myself preaching down others when it comes to my relationship with Christ. When those trying to find their way or just looking for substance they don’t start asking questions until after they have been around me and see the genuine unconditional love I try to show every moment of my existence.

Yes I have trials (big ones at that), I’m tried, I’m let down, I’m talked about, I’m cheated on, I don’t receive the same love I dish out from humans BUT knowing that Jesus went through far worst and on purpose gives me the encouragement I need to push forward -live on purpose with purpose and love.

This feeling that I have I’m so grateful that the world can’t take it away. I wake up daily with the peace that surpasses all understanding. I could not understand it at one time for the life of me. I questioned it myself countless times, especially when others thought I was masking other emotions. I would even lie to others and dumb down feeling amazing just to please others… Glad I stopped that! I have the love of Jesus, I love Him! I love my life and  I love love this mission to love others, hopefully inspiring others along the way.

It’s okay to love Jesus… It’s okay to have Peace. It’s okay to Love..

On a quest to live a shallow-less life.

Blessings & Love, Jayda 💋

Dragging my feet Sunday morning because of a mushy love story…

So lounging, laptop (working) and watching movies last night with the kids was the plan. Bedtime by 11pm was what I told them… 4 movies it’s midnight and ABC Family channel is still on, kids are sleep mind you.. Just as I was about to call it a night for myself a image of a woman walking in a beautiful village caught my attention.

Two hours later, red eyes and a stuff nose from crying I’m realizing I stayed up to 2am to watch Love Letters to Juliet… This movie was such a girly girl movie and I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!

letters_to_juliet_ver3_xlg

If I’m not the only one late for class, this movie is a must see typical not so typical love story.

An American girl Sophie (played by Amanda Seyfried)  on vacation in Italy finds an unanswered “letter to Juliet” — one of thousands of missives left at the fictional lover’s Verona courtyard, which are typically answered by a the “secretaries of Juliet” — and she goes on a quest to find the lovers referenced in the letter. I really enjoyed this movie… Well worth staying up pass midnight..

Project:Operating in your Grace Place

Operating, Honoring, Embracing your Grace place.

God’s Word instructs us how to love each other well. A compassionate, forgiving, and  contrite heart can be a mighty kingdom expanding force. Stand on these verses and The Holy Spirit will empower you to shower others with supernatural mercy and grace.

1. Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. – Matthew 5:11-12

2. But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, -Matthew 5:44

3And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. -Matthew 6:12

4. For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions. -Matthew 6:14-15.

5. In the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ and behold, the log is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye. –Matthew 7:2-5

6. Then Peter came and said to Him, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Up to seven times? Jesus said to him, I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven. -Matthew 18:21-22

7. Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your transgressions. –Mark 11:25-26

8. But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil men. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. Do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned. –Luke 6:25-37

9. And forgive us our sins, For we ourselves also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation -Luke 11:4

10. Be on your guard! If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times a day, and returns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ forgive him. -Luke 17:3-4

11. But Jesus was saying, Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing. And they cast lots, dividing up His garments among themselves.  -Luke 22:34

12. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. –Romans 5:8

13. Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; – Romans 12:9 – 10

14. Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation. –Romans 12:16

15. But if your enemy is hungry, feed him, and if he is thirsty, give him a drink, for in so doing you will heap burning coals on his head. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. – Romans 12:20-21

16. Now accept the one who is weak in faith, but not for the purpose of passing judgment on his opinions. –Romans 14:1

17. Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength and not just please ourselves. Each of us is to please his neighbor for his good, to his edification. –Romans 15:1-2

18. Actually, then, it is already a defeat for you, that you have lawsuits with one another. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded? -I Corinthians 8:7

19. Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails; -I Corinthians 13:4-8

20. Brethren, do not be children in your thinking; yet in evil be infants, but in your thinking be mature. – I Corinthians 14:20

21. Sufficient for such a one is this punishment which was inflicted by the majority, so that on the contrary you should rather forgive and comfort him, otherwise such a one might be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow. -2 Corinthians 2:6-7

22. Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted. -Galations 6:1

23. Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. –Ephesians 4:1-3

24. Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you. –Ephesians 4:32

25. Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourself; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. –Philippians 2:3-4

26. Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, have this attitude; and if in anything you have a different attitude, God will reveal that also to you; -Philippians 3:15

27. So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you. –Colossians 3:12-13

28. The Lord’s bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged, with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will.-2 Timothy 2:24-26

29. But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. –James 1:5

30. Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. –James 1:12

31. For judgment will be merciless to one who has shown no mercy; mercy triumphs over judgment. -James 2:13

32. My brethren, if any among you strays from the truth and one turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins. –James 5:19-20

33. Honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king. –I Peter 2:17

34. …and while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously; -I Peter 2:23

35. To sum up, all of you be harmonious, sympathetic, brotherly, kindhearted, and humble in spirit; not returning evil for evil or insult for insult, but giving a blessing instead; for you were called for the very purpose that you might inherit a blessing. -I Peter 3:8-9

36. Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins.-I Peter 4:8

37. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. –I John 1:9

38. Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer; and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. – I John 3:15

39. Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth. –I John 3:18

Remember when your offer grace to others in-turn God bestows His grace upon you..
